Psychrobacter sp. PRwf-1

Psychrobacter_sp.
Names Psychrobacter sp. PRwf-1
Accession numbers NC_009516, NC_009517, NC_009524
Background Psychrobacter sp. (strain PRwf-1) was isolated from the skin and gills of the fish Lutjanus vivanus (silk snapper) caught off the coast of Loiza in northeastern Puerto Rico. It is a small, non-motile coccoid rod often found in pairs. Psychrobacter sp. (strain PRwf-1) was selected for sequencing based on its physiological differences with the Psychrobacter strains isolated from cold environments, including a temperature range shifted to warmer temperatures.
